We spent two weeks in Panormo and only discovered the Kastro in the second week! Without any doubt it is the best restaurant in Panormo. Nothing is too much trouble for the genial host Manoli with food that is outstanding and some of the best local wine I have ever tasted in Greece. We loved the pottery from Margarites too. Thank you again Manoli. |

Φιλε Μανωλη αν και αργοπορημενα επιτελους βρηκαμε λιγο χρονο να σου αφησουμε και εμεις μια πινελια στο βιβλιο επισκεπτων σου.
Αν ακομα δεν καταλαβες ποιοι ειμαστε, εχουμε και λεμε, Θανασης,Γωγω, Δεσποινα, Κωστας.....και οι φουκαραδες που μονο το εκπληκτικο σου φαγητο και την απιστευτη ρακι μπορεσαν να γευτουν, Νικος, Ρανια, Γιαννης, Χρυσα.....και ο μικρουλης Γιωργος.
Πραγματικα τα δωματια σου και το φαγητο ειναι η καλυτερη αναμνηση που εχουμε απο την Κρητη.
Στο επανειδην και οπως ειπαμε αν ερθεις Αθηνα....μην τυχον και διστασεις να παρεις ενα τηλεφωνο......Αυτο ισχυει και αν πας Αλεξανδρουπολη!!!!

Thank you for the lovely food and warm welcome. Our stay at panormo was alot more enjoyable with your restaurant there.The raki always went down well at the end of the meal and we won't forget you giving us a lift back to the hotel when it was pouring down with rain. |

Kastro Taverna opened for the season tonight 4th May 2007 and as always Manolis was a fantastic host and the food was excellent. Yorgos english is amazing. It felt like we were at home. We always recommend Kastro for a good evening out. |

Wonderful! That's the first word that comes to mind. Excellent value, warm hospitality, clean modern accomodations and great food at the taverna which felt like our private restaurant . The gentle breeze each morning on the veranda made the start of the day very pleasant and gave us something to look forward to coming back to in the afternoon.The room was always cool and quiet. True Ctretan hospitality!
Our twelve nights there are fond memories. Panormo is well worth getting to know and we will be back! We will certainly recommend your place to friends visiting Crete.
Thank you Manoli, and family for making us feel at home. See you next year
